Youth Development Professional
Reports to: Unit Director
Hours: Part-Time, Hours TBD by Supervisor
Salary: $13.50 per hour
Primary Functions:
Plan, implements, supervise and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area such as Education, Special Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts and Physical Education. Coordinate office responsibilities, general clerical duties. Program specialist responsibilities take precedent over other responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth outcome.
- Promote and stimulate program participation.
- Register new members and participate in the club orientation process.
- Program development and Implementation.
- Effectively implement and administer programs, services and activities for members and visitors.
- Monitor and evaluate programs, services and activities to ensure members safety, quality in programs and appearance of the club at all times.
- Prepare monthly reports outlining planned activities.
- Prepare and submit a program evaluation to Unit Director of designee after completion of events
- Prepare and submit a weekly report of activities completed.
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
- Assist or prepare evening meals.
- Supervise youth at School Unit and Teen Center
Additional Responsibilities:
- Required to drive Club van and be insurable.
- Develop and coordinate special programs and/or events.
- Make sure facility is cleaned and left in an organized manner each night.
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Chief Executive Officer.
Physical Requirements/Work environment:
- Ability to lift 50lbs and some work will be completed outdoors. Standing for long periods of time. Driving youth to attend special events. Some travel will be expected.
Compensation: $13.50 per hour
